Reid Landry Garrant was a 22 year old young man who graduated from Pentucket Regional High School in 2014. He played Varsity Football & Lacrosse there and went on to play football for The University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth. During high school he grew up in the West Newbury and Merrimac area. Reid was well-loved by his family, Pentucket family, Umass D family, friends & peers. On June 1st 2018,
Reid passed away from Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia or APML/APL — a cancer of the white blood cells, after only being diagnosed the previous day from Dana Farber Cancer Institute doctors.
